Spaced Retrieval (SR) is an evidence-based intervention that is effective for helping people with memory impairment. It can be used to help individuals lead more independent lives by enhancing memory for personally relevant information and improving behaviors, such as less repetitive questioning, better orientation, greater engagement in activities, improved appointment keeping, safe ambulation, transfer and safer swallowing behaviors.
