Installation is easy and will typically take 10-20 minutes.

Smarturns does not require an internet connection to operate. However, if connected to the internet, alerts can also be sent to family and carers.

There are no subscription costs or ongoing fees.

Knob Types

There are two knob types to suit different stove designs:

• Horizontal: Where the knobs are facing the ceiling.
  
• Vertical: Where the knobs are facing the user.

Please note: Smarturns does not shut off the stove automatically. It simply alerts the user and family if the stove is on and unattended, so that appropriate action can be taken.

There are 3 key components to Smarturns.

How it works:

1. When the stove is on, the Smarturn knobs notify the hub.
   
2. The motion sensor detects if the stove has been left unattended.
   
3. If the stove isn’t attended to within the preset time, the Smarturns Hub sounds an alert for the user in the home.
   
4. Additionally, if Smarturns has been connected to a carers mobile phone, an alert is also sent to the mobile phone so the appropriate action can be taken.

3 easy steps to install

1. Replace the knobs - Smarturns fit most gas & electric stoves. The original stove knobs will simply pull off.
2. Place the motion sensor - Mount the motion sensor near the stove. It's self adhesive & requires no cables.
3. Connect the hub - Connect the hub to power. The hub will now alert the user if the stove is left on unattended.

Smartphone Monitoring

Smarturns can operate without an internet connection, the hub will sound an alert if the stove is left on unattended for 5 minutes.

For smartphone notifications to family and carers, install the FREE Smarturns App to receive remote alerts.

Simply install the 'Smarturns App' on your phone and follow the in-app instructions.

No costs or subscriptions. *WiFi is required for this feature.

Pair it with a Tochie

Smarturns also works beautifully with the Tochie Smart Speaker.

Simply record a personal reminder to check the stove, and if Smarturns detects the stove is unattended whilst on, it will play your recorded message.
